J. Roland Pennock studied at the London School of Economics & Political Science in 1925-26, and then returned to Swarthmore and graduated with highest honors in 1927. In 1928, he received an M.A. in Government from Harvard University. In 1932, J. Roland Pennock became an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Swarthmore.
